I always love getting to photograph families in locations that are new to me, so this one was a treat as I got to venture into Siccaridge Wood, not far from Cirencester, to photograph this lovely family with their twins and younger daughter. We had a great stroll through the woods which featured lots of little pools for the children to splash in and plenty of gorgeous scenery to hike around. We took a few snack stops (always required!) and the kids scaled some fallen trees. Nothing was planned, it never is, but everything unfolded beautifully. The youngest was a little shy of me to start with but after a while started to warm up to me and by the end we were getting along like old pals. I always feel like I’ve won a prize when a camera shy little one ends up being their full authentic self for me by the end of a shoot! A really lovely morning with a great family, thank you for choosing to work with me!
