This was a really exciting shoot for me, as it was the first time I’d officially offered videography as part of my business offering, which was a little nerve wracking but ultimately a brilliant experience! I met Sherry many years ago as a client of hers and was thrilled when she asked if I would shoot her updated branding photography and asked if I could also help her with video content for social media. I’ve always shot video for personal projects (and even created a few music videos for friends) but have never put myself out there as a videographer for hire. I think there is definitely space for overlap between still imagery and short cinematic clips for socials right now, especially for entrepreneurs who provide a service that can be demonstrated well on video.
The Pause Room is a beautiful business which focuses on treatments for women in midlife who need to pause, rest, be taken care of by someone, and Sherry’s nurturing personality comes through in the images and videos.
