I first met Katharine several years ago when she brought her family for a family Spring mini-shoot with me, after that our daughters ended up at the same nursery setting and we got to know each other even better, and I’ve loved watching her journey over the past few years as she decided expand her skills (she’s a highly qualified and experienced physiotherapist) and train as a Systemic Kinesiologist. The older I get, the more I’m opening up to the world of holistic healing, possibly because I’m a woman of a certain age and we all start to realised there’s simply not much research on how women’s bodies work (!) but also because as someone who has struggled with chronic pain and various other health issues, we end up having to figure our health out for ourselves, and nine times out of ten that usually involves finding a practitioner who looks more holistically at the whole body and its systems rather than trying to fix one symptom.
We had a lovely shoot, with various elements to it some of Katharine being herself, outdoors or having a cup of tea, some in the treatment room and some in the consultation area, to cover the various aspects of a session. It was a really interesting and enjoyable shoot, thank you for trusting me with your photography Katharine :-).
