I was so happy when a previous client, the lovely Annie, got in touch to say she wanted to buy a shoot for her sister as a birthday gift. And when I started talking to Victoria she sounded so keen on the natural style I like to shoot I knew it would be a great shoot, plus she suggested the forests around Cheddar Gorge so I was pretty excited! The whole family were just a joy to work with, really positive and outgoing people and also hugely passionate about the natural world, I felt like I was on a field trip, I learned so much! It was wonderful to see! I’d been to Cheddar Gorge before but had no idea of all the gorgeous surroundings, the forest had beautiful little streams brooks running through, stunning trees and beautiful views. I loved capturing moments between the family, and of the children on their own, just enjoying their day and being themselves. This is the kind of photography I just love to do, totally natural and really meaningful memories of a day or a place. I also grabbed mum and dad for mini-‘couple session’ while the children were playing and I really love those photos as well. All in all a wonderful experience and a beautiful day. Thank you for hanging out with me, Perch Family!
