This one is long overdue, having taken place last year, but life just has this funny way of running away with itself these days!
I was really excited to get to do a golden hour shoot with the wonderful Gillespie family, we had planned a trip out to Selsley Common to get the stunning views there with their three fabulous kids, but alas the weather (somewhat unpredicted, I must say) turned on us about 10 minutes into the session. We prevailed through increasing rain and wind but it go to the point that the rain was too much and the kids were shivering, but then just as we were heading back the most glorious rainbow appeared in the sky! Nevertheless, I didn’t feel like we’d really accomplished the full family photoshoot experience, so we decided to continue the shoot a few days later and got some absolutely beautiful shots. I actually love a bunch of images from each ‘half’ of the shoot, so am sharing them all here. I know we always want glorious sunshine for photos, but wet and windy weather does make for a great stories and images too!
